Working in British Columbia

Working in British Columbia

The Government of British Columbia recognizes the important role that immigration plays in helping to build a strong province. WelcomeBC helps ensure new British Columbians are able to settle, gain employment, become active members of their communities, and contribute fully to the social and economic prosperity of B.C. Rural and remote areas of British Columbia need skilled immigrants as much as any city, perhaps more. All the information you need on settling in BC is here.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada

The Mount Waddington region's people would love you to call their communities home. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver receive 70-80% of new immigrants every year, so ask yourself whether rural or urban Canada needs your services and family more. We want working families who seek comfortable, attractive rural living. The processes are the same for everyone, so start with the information provided by the Government of Canada regarding immigration.
